Patient handling

In this video I demonstrate how to get a patient from sitting in the edge of the bed (SOEB) and back down again.
I think I communicated what I was expecting the patient to do and what I was going to be doing to assist them. I asked for their consent and continually checked in with them to ensure they were feeling okay as standing for the first time after a period of time can make the patient feel uneasy or dizzy.
I think i could have allowed the patient more rest before sitting them back down again to ensure they did fully have their balance, etc.
